We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Children's Hospital & Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents in our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues in children and adolescents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues in children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
  • Current and valid Independent Mental Health Practitioner Nebraska license or state of Nebraska eligible
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a licensed mental health practitioner in a child or adolescent environment
  • Experience in outpatient mental health setting preferred
