About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across Avery Dennison's Materials Group to support, design, develop, and commercialize new products for the dynamic Energy Storage (batteries, e-mobility) market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and product development of tapes and functional films for the Energy Storage segment.
  • Collaborate with customers and marketing to define product needs for new opportunities and offer technical support through commercialization.
  • Design experiments to determine solution viability for specific applications and present technical recommendations to customers.
  • Provide process support to customers for tape laminating, die cutting, and part application.
  • Work with the commercial team to scope growth opportunities for potential new products across various industries.
  • Act as project leader for new product innovation and business-critical development projects.
  • Partner with internal departments, including sales, logistics, manufacturing, quality, and other engineers/chemists in product development.
  • Assist manufacturing and quality teams in addressing adhesive and product-related issues for customers.
