We are seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team at Mukilteo School District. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, wellness, and safety of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health education and guidance to students, parents, and school staff to promote wellness.
  • Assess student medical needs and develop individual health care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and school staff to ensure students receive necessary medical care.
  • Develop and implement health-related programs and activities, including vision screenings and immunization compliance.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on health-related topics, including infection control and medication administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate as a school nurse.
  • Valid Washington State RN license and current CPR certification.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful experience as a nurse in a school setting.
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Student cultural and economic diversity experience, preferred.
