We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Everett Public Schools. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our school community.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to students and staff, including administering medications, performing health assessments, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff, promoting healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatrics or school nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
