Finance Administration Manager

The Financial Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions within a manufacturing environment. This role involves direct management of administrative personnel engaged in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the processing of receipts and invoices, addressing discrepancies and monitoring freight receipts for accounts payable.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures, which includes organizing and maintaining financial documentation.
- Conduct accrual rebuild reporting to ensure timely accounts payable processing and accurate financial reporting.
- Execute general ledger entries and manage miscellaneous inventory accounting; coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory closures while reviewing outstanding transactions.
- Support payroll processing tasks, including management of the time-keeping system.
- Generate analytical reports for management focusing on cost, efficiency, and inventory metrics.
- Administer the cost accounting system to guarantee precise product costing, including inventory and resource utilization rates.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for both financial and non-financial activities within the manufacturing facility.
- Work hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to achieve critical deadlines.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5-7 years in a similar administrative or accounting position; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong accounting foundation with a basic understanding of human resources practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships within a diverse workforce.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing time efficiently.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quick to learn new software; experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
