We have a fantastic chance for a skilled PA to join our team as a locums provider at a prestigious medical facility in Coos Bay, OR.

This role offers a unique blend of clinical and surgical duties, making it ideal for professionals with a passion for delivering high-quality orthopedic care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Salary: $150 per hour

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, including preparing patient histories, developing and implementing care plans, conducting rounds, and evaluating clinical conditions. Additionally, they will perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as EMG, EKG, compartment pressure measurements, joint aspirations, and minor wound care.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds, utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry, and assist in orthopedic surgeries.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification is required.
  • Oregon license preferred; must meet criteria for Medical Staff/Allied Health Professional membership.
  • NPDB self-query submission is required.
  • Certifications: BLS/ACLS.
