This non-exempt position is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting, as you will be tasked with coordinating various parties to ensure a smooth closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finalization Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage all elements of the loan closing process.

You will engage with clients, borrowers, internal teams, and external agencies to address all closing matters promptly, adhering to company standards.

Process and Quality Assurance:

- Review Closing Instructions and prepare Closing Disclosure/ALTA
- Audit Loan Documents for accuracy prior to closing
- Coordinate closing schedules with borrowers, agents, and attorneys
- Confirm closing details and assist clients and borrowers in resolving any issues
- Pre-balance files for fund disbursement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and client regulations through meticulous preparation of closing documentation
Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Oversee daily reporting and dashboards for CD preparation, closings, and disbursements
Communication and Collaboration:

- Maintain open and respectful communication with clients, team members, and leadership
- Collaborate with agents, attorneys, borrowers, and lenders to finalize closing details
- Serve as a liaison for borrowers, addressing questions and concerns throughout the process
- Manage and nurture lender relationships
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience in the real estate or mortgage sector
- Familiarity with real estate titles, deed preparation, and closing processes
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Capability to function both autonomously and as part of a team
- Problem-solving mindset with multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
