Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate design specifications, process documentation, testing protocols, and quality manuals to ensure they meet customer and regulatory standards.
  • Product Integrity: Guarantee that all products adhere to the highest quality benchmarks.
  • Support & Analysis: Collaborate with product development and operations teams, offering expertise throughout the inspection stages. Identify root causes of production challenges and customer feedback, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Data Analysis: Examine quality metrics to uncover trends and mitigate future defects.
  • Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing operations align with federal, state, local, and industry regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FAI, SPC, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production methodologies or the capacity to learn swiftly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with developers, project managers, and customer service teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Preferred ASQ Certifications include:
    • CQA – Certified Quality Auditor
    • CQE – Certified Quality Engineer
  • A minimum of five years' experience in Plastic Injection Molding.
  • At least five years' experience in a Quality Engineer role.
