We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing precision assembly and measurement processes for our products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement automated and semi-automated solutions for precision assembly and measurement processes.
- Develop and improve processes through the application of theoretical and practical engineering principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to third-party machine/automation suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Develop and implement machine qualification requirements, design of experiments, and failure analysis.
- Travel internationally to support equipment bring-up, qualification, and acceptance testing.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role with experience in automation equipment used for alignment, assembly, and/or measurement of components.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection, and automation equipment.
- Understanding of build tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
- Knowledgeable in crafting machine qualification requirements, design of experiments, and failure analysis.
