Adjunct Instructor: Graduate Level

The University of North Texas System is seeking qualified individuals for its Graduate Adjunct Instructor pool. The Department of Advanced Data Analytics is responsible for cultivating a robust graduate community, characterized by a vibrant research environment, and facilitating the successes of students, programs, and alumni via selective recruitment, career development, and unsurpassed services.
Job OverviewThe anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include developing and teaching graduate-level (5000 level) data analytics courses such as univariate and multivariate statistics, machine learning, data visualization, data engineering, and AI. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Minimum Qualifications- A Ph.D. in Data Analytics/Science or related quantitative/technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics), or a master's degree in Data Analytics/Science with significant professional experience in the field.
- Candidates must be effective teaching either online or face-to-face classes.
- Preference will be given to those with experience applying data analytics techniques in business, government, or science settings.
