Purpose:

Ensure accurate documentation and complete necessary forms reflecting residents' health status and treatments. Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to physicians, nursing directors, or designated representatives, as necessary. Above all, deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as Community Nurse when needed, responding to emergency calls from residents within the community
  • Utilize the facility's communication system effectively, including the emergency call system
  • Follow medical directives and ensure timely and accurate medication administration; maintain thorough documentation in residents' records
  • Provide care while adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate important information to the oncoming shift using the 24-hour report and communication log
  • Safeguard and properly store all hazardous materials used in the workplace
Required Qualifications:

Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Florida and IV certification. CPR certification is required. To facilitate effective communication with residents, families, and staff, candidates must be able to see, hear, speak, read, and write in English. Physical capabilities include the ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs, and walk or stand for up to eight hours.

Hourly Rate:
$33.70

Background Checks:

A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be conducted for the finalist under consideration for this role. We maintain a drug-free workplace.
