Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sanitation Specialist to join our team at EW Grobbel. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our meat processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the department lead/supervisor to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Multi-task with minimal supervision to meet production deadlines.
  • Disassemble production equipment for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Clean and sanitize processing and manufacturing equipment.
  • Hand scrub food processing equipment and facilities.
  • Work as a team player to ensure cleaning specifications are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Assist in other areas as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.
  • Follow Company's GMP's, SOP's, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct.
  • Follow written and oral instructions.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a cold, damp environment.
  • Previous sanitation experience and prior chemical-use exposure is a plus.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Available to work a Monday-Friday schedule with some weekend work as dictated by production needs.
