Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and evaluate tax filings for S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations, catering to small to mid-sized clients.
- Act as a reliable member of the engagement team, delivering various federal tax compliance and advisory services to real estate clientele.
- Engage in tax research initiatives on diverse tax topics, assist in drafting IRS correspondence, and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with leadership on special projects in different domains of corporate and flow-through taxation, including accounting methods and ASC740.
- Formulate tax planning strategies and recommendations tailored for clients.
- Communicate and partner with specialized tax practices on complex tax issues across state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, as well as credits and incentives.
- Benefit from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring while participating in firm-wide learning and development initiatives.
- Utilize your entrepreneurial abilities to network and cultivate strong relationships both internally and with clients.
- Guide, mentor, and motivate junior staff through active engagement and training.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Master's in Taxation is advantageous.
- CPA or active pursuit of licensure is preferred.
- 3-6 years of relevant tax experience.
- Exhibit polished written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
