Empower Patients Through Education and Encouragement

Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking a motivated registered nurse to join our team as a Home Training Registered Nurse - Peritoneal Dialysis. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to empower patients through education and encouragement, helping them to take control of their dialysis treatments and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate prospective patients on the benefits of home dialysis and provide personalized training on their chosen modality
  • Collaborate with nephrologists to develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct educational workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and evidence-based practices
  • Monitor patient progress and lab results to ensure safe and successful treatment outcomes
  • Provide on-call support to patients through an answering service
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a registered professional nurse
  • 12 months of experience in nursing
  • Additional 3 months of experience with peritoneal dialysis
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
