Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Treatment Operator Trainee to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a Water Treatment Operator Trainee, you will be responsible for maintaining the water treatment department, including monitoring and maintaining various systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the boiler system, including daily blow downs and monitoring of SIMS system
  • Monitor Chillers and Nalco system, including Nalco chemicals and water levels
  • Maintain Ultra Filters, including CIP and maintenance wash, and fire water tank, fire pump system, and fire hydrant testing
  • Change chemical totes as needed and clean inlet filters daily
  • Custodial duties for the water treatment building and monitor and maintain cooling tower water supply
  • Monitor RO System, reviewing and monitoring hardness levels at the RO and regenerate softener as needed
  • Air compressor maintenance, cleaning, and checking AEDs on a regular schedule
  • Perform general plant maintenance duties as required
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently in an organized manner
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Attendance and punctuality are required
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
