- Route Scheduling: Manage route scheduling to ensure all scheduled customers are serviced by the end of the day. Redirect manpower and resources as required to service customers on routes with operational difficulties.
- Driver Debrief: Manage the driver debrief process for every route, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service, measured by key metrics such as on-time delivery, no missed stops, and customer loyalty.
- Open Order Report: Manage the open order report to resolve service issues and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Customer Interaction: Manage customer interaction records to resolve service issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Operations Management: Monitor department work productivity, report on trends, and recommend changes to improve work productivity.
- Payroll Management: Review payroll hours to ensure overtime hours are necessary and all employees are working efficiently.
- Vehicle Management: Manage route vehicles, containers, PDTs, and printers.
- Staff Development: Select, train, and develop an effective and efficient staff, establishing performance standards and objectives, conducting performance appraisals, and recommending salary adjustments and promotions.
- Safety and Compliance: Monitor and ensure employees are performing their functions safely and productively, making recommendations for changes or improvements to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and participate in the maintenance of Driver Qualification Files, DOT Log Files, and Vehicle Condition Reports for all CSRs and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 3+ years of experience driving with a CDL B license and 1+ year of supervisory experience
- Software Skills: Experience using an integrated fleet, driver, and compliance management software
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with JJ Keller software
- Physical and Mental Demands: Must be able to regularly access and use general office equipment, work in a busy and distracting environment, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, sit for long periods, and stand or walk for long periods.
