We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join our team at The Travelers Indemnity Company. As a Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for handling high exposure cases and complex litigation matters, utilizing your legal expertise and litigation skills to deliver optimal results for our insured customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Litigate cases to verdict, demonstrating strong trial skills.
  • Specialize in one or more areas of practice, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and presentation skills, producing high-quality legal documents.
  • Build and foster internal and external client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide leadership through mentoring other attorneys and legal support staff, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Initiate special projects and identify opportunities to support office goals and business needs.
Requirements
  • Senior Associate/Partner level of experience, with 7+ years of litigation practice or equivalent legal experience.
  • Proven track record of trial skills and techniques, with a strong appreciation for delivering high-quality legal work.
  • Active license in good standing to practice law in the state(s) in which representation is required.
