Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with licensed therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses.
  • Provide patient education and training on home exercise programs, transfers, caregiving, and home safety.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing.
  • Associates Degree from a licensed Physical Therapy program.
  • No experience required, but basic computer knowledge and communication skills are essential.
  • First Aid, BLS, and CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
