We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Data Thought Leader to join our team. As a key member of our data organization, you will be responsible for driving data strategies and owning all analytics and models related to the economics of our subscription business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize our subscription packages and prices.
  • Forecast our subscriber base and their value to Cambly Inc.
  • Build and maintain key financial metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set processes and culture for a technically rigorous data organization.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of industry experience and a Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
  • Experience in using machine learning and forecasting techniques to solve business problems.
  • Expertise in designing and building metrics from conception to data pipeline implementation.
  • Ability to drive data strategies and communicate complex ideas to audiences of varying technical levels.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R) and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in building ML applications for Finance.
  • Experience with setting up experiments and/or utilizing non-experimental causal inference methods like regression analysis to inform business decisions.
