Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mentorship Specialist to join our team at New Roads Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor clients in a therapeutic community setting, promoting positive relationships and behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support client goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in a therapeutic community or similar setting; experience working with young adults preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

The primary work environment is a residential facility, with occasional off-site activities and events.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to stand, walk, and engage in physical activities as needed, with occasional lifting and bending.
