The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced mammographer who can work independently and has a passion for patient-centric care. If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that offers the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Assist practices in ensuring all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques and follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
  • Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order at all times.
  • Perform all required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State requirements/regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and process routine paperwork and data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Up-to-date CME credits.
  • Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
  • Flexible with the ability to multi-task.
