Sunrun is seeking a skilled Solar Operations Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers' solar systems are operational and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule, perform, and record all required inspections for installed solar projects, adhering to jurisdictional regulations.
- Coordinate inspections with customers and local authorities, ensuring seamless communication and timely completion.
- Maintain a highly organized and efficient calendar, highlighting existing appointments and availability for additional inspections.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
- Utilize software systems to record, maintain, and update project-specific deliverables and tasks.
- Perform minor punch list items, such as painting conduit or applying NEC stickers/placards, as needed.
- Previous experience in PV design, installation, or electrical work, with a minimum of one year of field construction experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record, with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting safety hazards, and encouraging others to work safely.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong communication skills to offer exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, transporting materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, outdoor weather conditions, and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height.
- A competitive starting salary range of $20.36 to $27.15, with opportunities for annual bonus eligibility, short and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
