Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Nephrology team at SCL Health St. Vincent in Billings, MT.
About the Role:As a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Nephrology, you will work collaboratively with our experienced Nephrologists to provide top-notch care and patient experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a strong nursing support team and other specialties, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with renal disease.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients with renal disease
- Collaborate with Nephrologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) License by the MT State Board
- Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License
- Current BLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific)
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
