Regional Nursing Coordinator

CRSI is seeking a dedicated Full-Time RN Coordinator to oversee nursing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality nursing care while adhering to established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze and present health-related quality measures and participate in compliance initiatives.
- Delegate medication administration and health-related activities as per regulatory standards.
- Conduct in-person visits to monitor consumer safety, health, and welfare.
- Complete physical assessments and necessary treatments.
- Perform quality assurance audits and provide on-call support for program staff.
- Assist in developing written health plans for consumers and maintain communication regarding their health status.
- Participate in admission and discharge planning, making referrals to community resources as needed.
- Document all services provided in accordance with professional standards.
- Engage in infection control programs, including training and outbreak management.
- Review service plans to ensure appropriateness of care levels.
- Supervise nursing staff within the region.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Acceptable BCI record and background screening.
- Ability to assign responsibilities and provide professional nursing supervision.
- Interest in working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership qualities, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience: at least 3 years in nursing for adults and 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Professional liability insurance is recommended.
