Position Overview:
CRSI is seeking a dedicated Full-Time RN Coordinator responsible for overseeing nursing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality nursing services while adhering to established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to agency policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and compliance with training and employment standards.
  • Analyze and present health-related quality metrics, participating in compliance initiatives and peer reviews.
  • Delegate medication administration and health-related activities in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct in-person visits to monitor consumer safety, health, and welfare.
  • Ensure completion of physical assessments and treatments as required.
  • Perform quality assurance audits and be available for on-call support to program staff.
  • Assist in developing written health plans for consumers and maintain communication regarding their health events.
  • Participate in admission and discharge planning, making referrals to community resources as necessary.
  • Document all services provided in accordance with professional standards.
  • Engage in infection control programs, including training and outbreak management.
  • Review service plans to ensure they meet consumer needs.
  • Support the development and implementation of nursing department policies and procedures.
  • Supervise Field Associate Nurses, Lead ICF Nurses, and Staff Nurses within the region.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio, along with a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. A clean BCI record and background screening are required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to assign responsibilities and provide professional nursing supervision, with a preference for at least three years of nursing experience with adults and one year in a supervisory role. Professional liability insurance is recommended. A genuine interest in working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is essential. Candidates should be capable of working independently or collaboratively, demonstrating self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.
