Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NP to join our team in the School of Medicine, Ian M. Burr Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to cutting-edge research and treatment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain comprehensive histories and perform thorough physical examinations for pediatric patients in outpatient settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring accurate assessments and effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians to coordinate follow-up care and order laboratory tests as necessary.
  • Initiate medical therapies and procedures according to established protocols, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of clinical findings, assessments, and plans in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in case management, providing education, counseling, and referrals when medically indicated.
