Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, including reviewing patient information, verifying provider availability, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to ensure timely and accurate scheduling of procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including patient demographics, medical history, and scheduling information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient and effective patient flow, including coordinating with anesthesia, nursing, and other departments as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and provider inquiries, and resolving scheduling conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on scheduling and coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Epic, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
