Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity

A healthcare professional is sought by Tandym Group to join their Primary Care team in New Haven County, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in Primary Care.
- Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Create treatment plans and involve patients and family members in those plans.
- Initiate specialty referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with management, physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and service.
- Work with the care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures.
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Primary Care experience.
- Graduation from an accredited APRN or PA program.
- CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- DEA registration and Controlled Substance certification.
- Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
