Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech III to join our team at Harlingen Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, including Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities and assist in maintaining a high level of quality
  • Supervise Radiology staff in the absence of the supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining department supplies and equipment
  • Process and transmit images to PACS
Requirements
  • Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
  • National certification in three modalities or leadership experience
  • Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
  • Current BCLS certification
  • One year of acute clinical radiography experience
  • Proficient computer skills
