Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive and user-centered experiences for our products, ensuring seamless navigation and information architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and drive a product vision.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Communicate design concepts and rationale to development teams and executives.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional experience in end-to-end product design.
  • 6+ years of interaction design experience with knowledge to define users' needs.
  • 6+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, color, layout, iconography, desktop, responsive web, and aesthetic sense.
  • Proven ability to lead complex design projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally biotechnology or similar sectors.
  • Proven ability to think in terms of end-to-end UI design, applying strategic thinking and business goals to designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to move nimbly between strategy and execution.
What We Offer

Genentech is an equal opportunity employer, and we offer a competitive salary range of $136,000.00 - $253,000.00 USD Annual, as well as a discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
