As a Seasonal School Events Associate, you'll work closely with our Educational Representatives to execute administrative tasks and physical labor activities associated with conducting events at schools within an assigned marketplace. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless execution of rental transactions and fulfillment, while also providing exceptional customer service to parents and students.



Key responsibilities include:





  • Completing administrative tasks, including pre- and post-event documentation, inventory tagging, and other miscellaneous tasks

  • Supporting physical labor activities, such as loading and unloading inventory, event staging, and breakdown

  • Utilizing contactless applications to reserve and fulfill customer orders during events

  • Communicating professionally with sales reps, leadership, parents, students, and on occasion, educators, administrators, and other key school personnel

  • Traveling to assigned event prep locations and school event locations, with event preparation activities typically taking place at Guitar Center warehouses, storage facilities, and/or retail stores, while events themselves are held at schools within an assigned marketplace

  • Other duties as assigned, including completing all required training

Requirements:



To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  • A High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • A valid state driver's license and automotive insurance

  • The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings

  • Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in English
