Job Summary:
MEDIKO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Richmond City Justice Center. As a Nurse in this correctional setting, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting
- Observe and maintain security requirements
- Initial examination upon entry into the correctional facility
- Day-to-day medical care
- Responding to medical emergencies
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered state/commonwealth Registered Nurse license
- Completion of an Accredited Nursing Program leading to licensure with the ability to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved)
