Job Summary

TUV SUD America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Functional Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of connected and automated vehicles.

Your primary focus will be on reviewing and analyzing functional safety and technical safety concepts and requirements according to relevant standards during essential project phases of our customers.

You will also perform confirmation and verification reviews independently based on ISO 26262 standards and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and global teams on Functional Safety and relevant other safety standards.

Additionally, you will manage external partners to ensure compliance across all parts of the vehicle system and advise clients regarding system specification and development while following applicable technical standards.
