About the Role:

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner Cardiology to join their team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient problems, including the use of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention services, including health education and counseling.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct medical histories, perform procedures, and provide interventions within legal scope and authority.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas.
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas.
  • Ability to float, round to multiple facilities, and/or take call (first call).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
