This is a challenging role that involves designing, developing, and testing UHF RF & RFID circuits and systems for innovative products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF and circuit design, with a general knowledge of UHF Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop UHF RF & RFID circuits and systems for innovative products.
- Test and validate RF and RFID designs to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational requirements for new systems and inform selection of technological solutions.
- Develop test concepts, test procedures, and test reports for RF and RFID designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest RF and RFID technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience designing and testing antenna and/or RF hardware and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with lab test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF power meters, etc.).
- Familiar with CAE tools for PCB design (e.g., Altium Designer).
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing PCB-based, near-field antenna designs.
- Experience integrating tags, readers, or software in radio frequency identification device (RFID) designs.
- Basic software programming skills (C/C++, C#, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
