About the Role:

The Hospitalist Physician will provide inpatient coverage for ICU/Telemetry, Medical/Surgical Unit, Psych Unit, and the Continuous Living Center (CLC). This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient coverage for designated units
  • Follow established medication policies and procedures
  • Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities
  • Report incidents related to patient injury or medication errors

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
  • Current license to practice medicine in any state, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
  • Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school (either MD or DO)
  • Completion of a Residency in Family Medicine
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's License
