The role of the Utility Operator encompasses essential functions for the production of finished goods. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, shipping and receiving, waste-water management, maintenance tasks, and housekeeping duties to ensure efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and conduct daily inspections
  • Load and unload tank trucks, trailer trucks, and railcars
  • Complete required data sheets and logs for all tasks
  • Manage and maintain the waste treatment system, including DAF units and waste water tank levels
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties
  • Execute tasks related to storm-water and waste-water management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
  • Promptly report all Health, Safety, and Environmental incidents
  • Act responsibly and safely in all operations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs (up to 8 stories)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months to one year of industrial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with chemical names and materials is advantageous
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude preferred
