Position Summary:
The Leasing Professional is responsible for implementing the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention objectives. This role involves engaging in all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and facilitating lease renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive sales and leasing activities to meet the community's revenue and occupancy targets, including greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities that may influence occupancy and sales performance.
- Utilize the community management software (OneSite) to manage apartment availability, track leasing activities, and maintain resident data.
- Ensure the community adheres to company standards by inspecting marketing areas and coordinating maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
- Engage with prospective and current residents to ensure satisfaction through follow-up communications, including emails and calls.
- Support the lease renewal process by preparing renewal documents and proactively contacting residents prior to their lease expiration.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly, taking necessary actions to resolve issues or escalate them as needed.
- Complete various financial and administrative reports as required.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards.
- Implement safety protocols by reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Compensation and Benefits Overview:
- The expected base compensation for this role is approximately $25.00 per hour, subject to adjustments based on qualifications and other business-related factors.
- This position may qualify for performance-based bonuses at the discretion of the company.
- Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401k Retirement Plan and paid time off for various occasions.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

- Proficient in sales techniques, including lead generation and closing sales.
- Familiarity with financial and word processing software is essential.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for interpreting financial data.
- Experience with online marketing and advertising platforms.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs within the community. The ability to operate computer equipment and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs is necessary.
