Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to become a key member of the Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) Sales Finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of the sales forecasting process and deliver insightful analyses that support strategic decision-making across the organization, helping Autodesk excel in the Construction sector.

Your contributions will be vital in generating the financial assessments necessary for the ACS Sales and Finance teams. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including HQ Planning, Sales, Data Engineering, and Revenue Operations, to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

As a strategic thinker, you will leverage your analytical skills and data proficiency to provide actionable insights that help Sales and Finance leaders understand the underlying factors influencing business performance.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Autodesk Construction Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly forecasts for critical metrics such as ACV, Billing, and Revenue, utilizing input from Sales teams and analyzing business trends.
  • Communicate forecast insights and their implications to senior Sales and Finance leadership to enhance forecast accuracy and drive appropriate actions.
  • Monitor potential forecast opportunities and risks, conducting regular scenario analyses and stress tests.
  • Develop essential metrics to evaluate sales performance and efficiency, integrating data from financial systems and Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across ACS to ensure consistent messaging regarding forecasting and reporting.
  • Assist in automating ACS Sales Finance processes by employing Business Intelligence tools and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the quarter-end close cycle and other time-sensitive deliverables as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA.
  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen interest in data and experience in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan) is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar Sales CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the Cloud/SaaS industry and knowledge of relevant finance and accounting practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and relationship-building.
