Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team. The position may be based in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area or Chandler, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and configure L2 and L3 network equipment (routers, switches, etc.)
  • Monitor network performance to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively using network management systems and tools
  • Assist with the development and implementation of disaster recovery programs
  • Assist with incident management, problem management, and change management tickets
  • Follow organizational IT security procedures for network setup, installing firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, etc., and monitoring system logs for signs of intrusions
  • Collaborate with and lead other team members to troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may require specific physical abilities
  • Offer guidance and direction to less experienced team members
  • Review and update SOPs and other documents
Basic Qualifications:
  • An IAT II certification
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience
  • Understanding of Network Protocols
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any of the following certifications: CCNA, Agile, ITIL
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold a TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability; an active EOD suitability is highly desired
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
