Outreach Development Corp. is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Social Worker - Adolescent Residential Program to work in our Adolescent Residential Program located in Brentwood, NY.
Job Summary:The Social Worker - Adolescent Residential Program is responsible for the delivery of direct clinical services in a substance abuse treatment setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with co-occurring and mental health problems, as well as a commitment to providing quality services and outcome-driven performance measures.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate various formats (e.g. individuals, groups, specialty groups) on time and in a professional, ethical and caring manner.
- Manage all aspects of a caseload from date of entry to date of discharge with special attention to appropriate levels of care and appropriate clinical interventions.
- Provide backup coverage in the event of other clinical staff absences.
- Demonstrate initiative in task identification and completion; use time efficiently in working with the Program Director and Program Coordinator to effectively handle volume of work.
- Address program issues with the Program Director, which pertain to strategic objectives, annual plan and overall delivery of services.
- Participate in and support agency quality improvement programs; support actions to improve care and services based on outcome data.
- Advanced degree required; LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or higher preferred.
- Limited permit or clinical master's level candidate with relevant experience will be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience with substance abuse disorders.
- 1-2 years of experience working with clients with co-occurring and mental health problems.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an OASAS funded facility a plus.
- Commitment to providing quality services and outcome-driven performance measures.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
- Experience with AVATAR electronic health records a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish or Polish a plus.

Compensation details: 19-24 Hourly Wage
