Job Summary:

The Licensed Social Worker is a part-time position responsible for delivering long-term supervision, support, and clinical services to a population of chemically dependent adolescents.

This role serves as a member of the treatment team and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents and/or in a therapeutic community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides weekly caseload group sessions to assist residents in developing and obtaining goals.
  • Provides bi-weekly individual counseling sessions to assist residents in developing and obtaining goals.
  • Initial and ongoing screening of residents and resident property in accordance with unit procedure.
  • Documents and charts all aspects of resident progress through the use of plans, progress notes, and other agency forms and tools.
  • Supervises clients in self-medication under supervision.
  • Participates in individual and group supervision.
  • Communicates all pertinent information, incidents, and emergencies using the appropriate system.
  • Provides crisis interventions and follows up with documentation of the incident, accident, and/or elopement reports.
  • Overall supervision and management of client population in the facilitation of the daily house schedule.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adolescents and/or in a therapeutic community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
