About the Role

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Gastrointestinal Technician to join our team at Huntington Beach Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of gastrointestinal procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during invasive GI procedures, providing sterile instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Support co-workers in delivering high-quality patient care, adhering to regulations, standards, and hospital policies.
  • Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities, contributing to a culture of excellence.
  • Act as a resource person for other personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; related experience or training preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a GI setting, with a focus on surgical assistance.
