Job Summary

We are seeking a Front Desk Hospitality Specialist to join our team at Common Thread Hotels. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing hotel operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Register Guests: Welcome guests, register them in the hotel's system, and assign rooms according to their preferences.
  • Manage Room Assignments: Ensure that rooms are assigned efficiently, and make adjustments as needed to meet guest requests.
  • Process Payments: Verify customers' credit, establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation, and make and confirm reservations.
  • Respond to Guest Requests: Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs, adding personal recommendations, and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while conforming with all hotel policies.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers, being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Communication Skills: Verbally communicate with others, including guests, colleagues, and management, to convey information effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Operate desktop and/or mobile devices with computer applications to manage information, including editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific information.
Physical Demands
  • Mobility: Standing, walking 100% of time worked, reaching with hands and arms, and ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
Work Environment
  • Technology: Desktop and/or mobile devices with computer applications to manage information, facilities management software, email, electronic mail software, and office suite software.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
