Job Title: Commercial Roofing Foreman

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial roofing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and related materials.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions for crew members.
  • Monitor and control labor projections, material storage, and material needs to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify and address any quality control issues, ensuring that all work meets Baker Roofing Company's high standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve crew productivity, efficiency, and morale.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timesheets, shop requisitions, and job reports.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a proven track record of success in supervisory or leadership roles.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work at heights.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and exposure to hazardous materials.
Work Environment:
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental hazards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
