Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room, providing technical support to the perioperative process under the direct supervision of the RN.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with scrubbing and circulating tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Arrange instruments on the sterile field, maintaining asepsis and organization.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and successful procedure.
- Participate in pre-operative review of charts and pre-operative checklist, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited school of operating room technology preferred.
- Successful completion of national exam for certification; registry eligible must pass the certification exam within 18 months from date of hire.
- BLS certification required.
