Role Summary

The Operations Coordinator is accountable for the daily management of logistics pertaining to Vytelle's IVF operations. This role ensures the seamless functioning of the facility while overseeing administrative tasks, including maintenance and health and safety protocols. Under the guidance of the Lab Manager, the Coordinator will facilitate essential laboratory operations related to semen logistics for IVF.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients, customers, and team members.
  • Manage the check-in process for embryos, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking.
  • Oversee inventory management for semen and embryos, including storage and handling.
  • Generate reports and conduct data checks for client donor and mating information.
  • Propose and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate the shipping and tracking of client embryos and semen.
  • Manage supply ordering and storage, including liquid nitrogen.
  • Maintain accurate filing and reporting for accounting purposes.
  • Ensure facility maintenance through coordination with service providers.
  • Organize and prioritize incubator logistics for oocytes and embryos.
  • Proactively address facility-related issues.
  • Maintain company assets, including vehicles and guest accommodations.
  • Participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Assist with semen logistics, including scheduling shipments and managing inventory requests.
  • Monitor liquid nitrogen tank levels and maintain organization in the semen room.
  • Conduct audits for semen and embryo inventory.
  • Travel for training and company events as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Lab Manager.
