Role Summary

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in the seamless execution of logistics associated with Vytelle's IVF operations. This position is tasked with ensuring the efficient functioning of the facility while managing administrative responsibilities, including maintenance and compliance with health and safety standards. Under the guidance of the Lab Manager, the Coordinator will facilitate essential laboratory operations, particularly in managing semen logistics for IVF.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Oversee the entry and tracking of embryos and semen shipments.
  • Manage inventory, including storage and handling of biological materials.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and generate necessary reports.
  • Conduct audits of donor and mating data from clients.
  • Propose and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate the logistics of shipping and receiving biological materials.
  • Maintain supply inventory, including liquid nitrogen.
  • Handle facility maintenance and liaise with service providers.
  • Organize and prioritize incubator usage for oocytes and embryos.
  • Proactively address facility-related issues.
  • Manage company assets, including vehicles and guest accommodations.
  • Participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Assist with semen logistics and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor liquid nitrogen levels and maintain organization in the semen room.
  • Travel for training and collaboration as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Lab Manager.
