Job Summary

At Bethesda Health, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the assessment of residents and remain knowledgeable about any significant changes in condition
* Participate in the care planning process and communicate the plan to the interdisciplinary team, residents, and families
* Implement necessary nursing interventions relevant to the care plan and ensure timely delivery of medication and treatments
* Use critical thinking skills to identify and address residents' changes in condition
* Monitor and actively address problem areas using the QAPI process to ensure effective care delivery
* Complete ongoing nursing education and maintain knowledge of best nursing practices through self-study

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Licensed Practical Nurse license
* CPR, AED, and IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
* Long-term care experience preferred
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
* Ability to lift and move patients, push and pull equipment, and perform necessary documentation
* Visual acuity and manual dexterity with the ability to distinguish color
