Vista Hill Foundation is a dynamic community-based organization dedicated to serving people in need. We develop and maintain diverse quality services and programs throughout San Diego County, including brief early intervention and preventive work with youth, treatment with school-age kids, and long-term special education and training for individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Midway District of San Diego. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical integrity, assessment, planning, and delivery of mental health services to clients. Your expertise will ensure that all provided services, program documentation, and billing are consistent with company policies and county and community contracts.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide counseling/mental health services, practice as a member of a multidisciplinary team, complete proper clinical documentation in a timely manner, and demonstrate experience working in a mental health program or clinic, treatment facility, or other behavioral health setting.

You will work closely with our staff to assess and provide services to help stabilize residents and transition them to a more secure situation. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 11:30 am – 8 pm, in a temporary housing shelter.

Requirements
  • Master’s Degree
  • ACSW/AMFT/APHA/APCC, registration or License in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Science
  • Experience working in a mental health program or clinic, treatment facility, or other behavioral health setting
  • 2-4 years professional experience in working with target population
  • Valid CA drivers license and reliable transportation required
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $31-$35 per hour, based on your qualifications and experience. As an employee of Vista Hill Foundation, you will receive employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, employer-paid retirement contribution, and clinical supervision (if applicable). Some programs may qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.
